Stefan Rooijakkers

Stefan Rooijakkers has been active at SDIM since 2014. He started with an earlier role as e-commerce manager at a well-known shop and grew within SDIM from specialist to his current position as manager and partner. His expertise lies in managing specialists and strategically shaping digital departments. With his multiple businesses, he has built deep, proven experience in competitive sectors such as finance, tech, publishing, non-profit, and e-commerce.

His approach is always aimed at fully understanding complex business objectives and translating them into executable, results-driven digital plans. Stefan is technically proficient, has extensive experience with website development, and is adept at interpreting complex datasets. He is no pusher of trends, but a realist and strategist who looks at how digital resources can actually and measurably contribute to the success of an organization. For him, the pleasure lies in bringing people and resources together to realize tangible growth.

Stefan helps DDMA organize the indispensable Friends of Search conference, through which he actively contributes to shaping the industry. He is also a board member at Skatepark Haarlem.

His hobbies include: skateboarding, snowboarding, building websites, art, and music. Stefan lives in Amsterdam, but was born in Lisse-West, and thus, like many colleagues, originates from the beautiful Bollenstreek area.
